Homeowners in Gen Fyansford Stages 3.1 – 3.4 are eligible to receive a $5,000 landscaping rebate when completing their landscaping in line with our design guidelines, plus an additional $500 turfing rebate when you complete turfing with natural grass. Read on for the facts and figures on how to claim your rebate.
How The Gen Fyansford Landscaping Rebate Works:
1. What landscaping elements must be completed to qualify for the rebate
Your landscaping must be in line with the Gen Fyansford Brand Guidelines which can be viewed here and include:
• Fencing (return fences included)
• Trees, shrubs, and plants as per approved plans
• Driveway and paving (with approved finish and colour)
• Ground cover (grass, pebbles, etc.)
• Letterbox
2. How do I submit my application?
Once all requirements are met, complete and sign this form attaching all relevant documents as listed in the form. GFAP will inspect the works before the rebate is approved and paid.
3. When should I submit my landscaping rebate application?
You must submit your application after your landscaping works are completed and within six (6) months of the date your certificate of occupancy was issued.
4. What documents do I need to include with my application?
You must provide:
• Proof of the Settlement Date (e.g., relevant page from the Contract of Sale)
• Copy of the Occupancy Permit from your Builder or Building Surveyor
• Copy of Approved Landscaping Plans
• Photos of completed landscape works, including trees, letterbox, driveway, return fences, etc.
5. How long does it take to receive the rebate?
Once your submission is approved, the rebate is generally paid on the 25th of the following month after you receive an email confirming successful completion.
6. How much will my landscaping rebate be?
You will receive a $5000 rebate upon meeting all the landscaping requirements and the completed application approved by NGDD.
7. What happens if my application is incomplete or doesn’t meet the guidelines?
Incomplete applications will delay processing. If your landscaping does not comply with the guidelines, the Gen Fyansford Assessment Panel (GFAP) will provide feedback on necessary changes.
8. Do I need to get my landscaping approved before I start?
Yes, you must obtain landscape design approval from the GFAP before proceeding. If you have not yet done so, submit your design for approval before applying for the rebate.
9. What if my landscaping is delayed beyond the required timeframe?
If your landscaping is not completed within six (6) months of receiving the Occupancy Permit, you may become ineligible for the rebate. If delays occur due to unforeseen circumstances, contact landscape@ngdd.com.au as soon as possible to discuss your situation.
10. Can the rebate be paid to someone other than the property owner?
No, the rebate is only paid to the registered property owner(s) as per the Contract of Sale. The bank account details provided in the application must belong to the owner(s).
11. What if I sell my property before applying for the landscaping rebate?
The rebate is only available to the original purchaser listed on the Contract of Sale. If you sell the property before submitting your application, the new owner will not be eligible to claim the rebate.
