Gen Fyansford is excited to announce the sales launch of the estate’s town centre which will commence in February 2020 led by experienced commercial agents, Savills.
In November 2019, the Geelong City Council approved a town centre masterplan for the site allowing the land to be used for a broad range of purposes including retail, restaurant/dining, commercial, mixed-use, residential, green space, and an urban plaza.
Totalling 6.23 hectares and located at the entrance of the estate on Hyland Street, the town centre is a community asset made up of two separate land holdings.
The sale of the site comes from ICD Property and Supalai’s decision to focus solely on their primary goal of delivering a premium residential estate to the Geelong community.
The developers are extremely excited to progress the delivery of this commercial asset and hope to find a suitable purchaser that shares their vision for the site to become a major community hub for the wider Fyansford township and surrounding suburbs.
“Since the beginning we envisioned the town centre within Gen Fyansford becoming something that brings Gen Fyansford residents together. As well as those living in neighbouring suburbs such as Newtown, Hamlyn Heights, and Herne Hill” said ICD Property Managing Director Matt Khoo.
“Although Gen Fyansford is within close proximity to Geelong’s city centre, providing residents with essential doorstep amenities like a supermarket and dining options will help improve the liveability of everyone in the neighbourhood. We have high hopes for the town centre to serve as a community hub and introduce new commercial success to the area.”
